Clear Spring Ice has been manufacturing and supplying ice to the city of Winnipeg and surrounding areas since 1990. We supply ice wholesale to retailers as well as provide ice for small to large events.
W.A. Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Ltd (its parent company) was founded by William (Bill) Taylor in January 1973 and operates under various subsidiaries.
Sweden Freezer supplies ice cream machine parts for Sweden Freezer and Sani Serv machines.
W.A. Refrigeration is also in the business of short term rental of various commercial and party equipment and is capable of performing third party deliveries.
All through the ages, mankind has cut/made, delivered, and stored ice for cooling purposes, dating all the way back to 400 BC where the Persians had mastered the technique in storing mountain ice in the summer in the desert! Throughout the centuries, industries in China, England, and the Americas would cut blocks of ice out of rivers and lakes and store them for summer deliveries to customers.
Today, technology enables us to manufacture and store ice in all kinds of weather without the risk of melting and is produced for food storage and processing, chemical manufacturing, concrete mixing and curing, and consumer or packaged ice.
